The Role
Senior Project Engineer Electrical power generation, respectively Power plants
Specification of requirements, evaluation and selection of electrical systems and creation of documents / technical papers for the permit applications
Tasks
*carry out project plan including regular reporting (Work Breakdown Structure, activities, dependencies, schedule, resource plan, costs, risks)
*Supervise external service support and accompany, test and participate with the development of the deliverables
*Implement and support cross-site technical communication
*Reviews and study the nuclear sector
*Assess and contribute to documents related to the permit applications
*Asses and develop technical specifications and requirements for the site specific electrical systems.
*Development of electrical systems designs
*Perform technical evaluation of offers / bids / tenders
*Coordination with other departments to ensure project sites
*Represent the client on site with suppliers and authorities
*Represent the project interests with relevant bodies and experts

Information skills and contact with authorities, suppliers and others in accordance with the communication matrix
Education:
*M. Eng (Dipl Ing ETH) in electrical engineering or equivalent level
Languages:
*German (fluent) or French Fluent
*English (very good)
Professional competence (skills):
*Proven knowledge of electrical engineering, control and power supply
*Proven experience in conception, design and / or construction and operation of large power plants
*Knowledge of nuclear technology (specifics within nuclear facilities)
*Demonstrated computer skills in discipline-specific applications of Electrical Engineering of large infrastructure projects, preferably power plants
*Knowledge of the rules in the field
Methodological skills (techniques and methods):
*Practical experience and profound knowledge in System Engineering (Methodology)
*Knowledge of project management
*Structured and analytical approach
Social skills
*Good team player, especially in coordination with other departments
*Persuasion and strong professional appearance
*Ready for in-depth training in nuclear technology

*Experience in technical management of external service providers
